Lore and energy of Pearl
Pearls are a miraculous gift from the sea. Unlike other gems on earth, it is the only gemstone to be produced by a living thing. Pearls are also a treasure in pain the birth of a pearl is a miraculous journey. Natural pearls are formed when an irritant - either a parasite or a tiny grain of sand enters an oyster. This aggravates it so much it hurts. As a defense mechanism, the oyster responds by coating it with layer upon layer of nacre (a smooth and silky crystalline substance that gives pearls their luster). Perhaps, we should take a lesson from the oyster. The bigger the hardship the bigger the lustrous pearl may emerge. We may be plagued with adversity as human beings. Let every single challenge and blessing be the building blocks of life's journey and allow us to better weather future predicaments. It is never easy to find positivity in hardships. But if we discern its message and teachings while opening our hearts and minds to embrace, learn and overcome life's obstacle, we will find the wondrous treasure within just like a pearl with an irritant it takes work to turn into a beautiful pearl but it will be worth it. We can transform, grow and evolve to become wiser and deeper human beings. Of course, this doesn't happen overnight, it is a heroic journey we have to undertake.
